Health

One step closer to the cure

Revolutionising Healthcare

Personalised healthcare has the power to make healthcare systems more efficient and effective.

It is one of the factors that can keep the constantly ageing European population out of the hospitals, thus reducing costs for the state and increasing productivity and welfare. To that effect, EXUS is working towards the faster adoption of innovative software-driven solutions that deliver value to patients and the medical community alike.
A better understanding of causes and impacts of disease, disability and frailty helps to prevent, early detect, treat and cure.
In our projects we have been working on platforms that enable improved decision making in treatment provision. We also develop m-Health applications and software that utilises intuitive algorithms, for predictive patterns discovery and comprehensive assessments extraction.
Our main interest and work is in laying fundamental groundwork for the management of chronic diseases outside healthcare institutions. We work towards improving availability of information and data on negative results and adverse effects of treatment. We also support the integration of infrastructures, information structures and sources. At the same time, we contribute to interoperability, storage, sharing of and access to data with the vision to enable data exploitation in the European health sector.

Projects

EXUS’ software utilizes mature and new technologies (cloud computing, big data analytics, blockchain) in order to address the complex and diverse requirements of health research. Standardisation activities are integral cogs to EXUS’ works, ensuring compliance to stringent directives. In line with EXUS’ interests and capabilities our portfolio of innovation activities includes large-scale integration projects with an eye on technologies that deliver personalised health services.
